This is the first website that I've been to that actually isn't afraid to post information regarding the City of East Bethel, even if you don't share that same view. Most of the information appears to be accurate and you also give people numerous links to check the facts themselves. People need to learn to dig a little deeper themselves and not just rely on what they hear from others. They might be surprised at what they find. Hats off to you! It appears that the object of this site is actually to inform people and not "persuade" them. This is great.

With the failing of the lift station at Castle Towers this week, maybe Castle Towers isn't quite the "ancient history" as some bloggers claim. Since the repair and upkeep of the lift station at Castle Towers will basically be coming from taxpayers dollars in some shape or form, I just can't believe residents don't care just how it came to be that they paid $1.9 million (and are still paying) for a sewer and water system that they don't even use considering we are about to embark on another water and sewer project. . . . . Hopefully Castle Towers wasn't a similar "if you don't hook up, you don't pay" project as that appears not to have worked out so well.
